Voting by post is the easiest way to vote and you don’t need ID. Postal votes are sent out two weeks before polling day, so you don’t need to go to the polling station on the day. And, people with a postal vote are more likely to vote!

If you want to vote in person, please check the governments full list of accepted ID. If you do not have an accepted form of ID you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate which you can use as ID when voting in person.
